proquiet <db> -C enable
probkup online <db> <device>
no message in <db>.lg file about the probkup online started
FACT(s) (Environment):
All Supported Operating Systems
OpenEdge 10.x
Progress 9.x
CAUSE:
The proquiet is active and nothing will occur on the database.
Proquiet is typically used prior to an OS backup but not prior to Progress backup which makes us of the probkup command.
FIX:
To allow activity to continue on a database, the quiet point will need to be disabled. Command: proquiet <db> -C disable
