Batch program is running slower against the new Oracle database
Connecting to the oracle locally
Similar environment in another machine runs 10 times faster
Rebuilt Oracle indexes in the Oracle database but application still runs slower
The Oracle database in the new environment was from a backup
The schema holder used in the new machine was dumped from the existing schema holder
CAUSE:
The Oracle database is missing some of the key indexes that the application was using.
FIX:
load the missing indexes in the Oracle database, and Update the schema holder.
