SCO OpenServer 5.0.6
Progress 9.1E

Can not run proserve

Can not start a database using proserve

dynamic linker : <path to DLC>/bin/jvmStart : could not open /usr/lib/libthread.so.1

Migration options for OpenServer 5.0.6 customers are:

a) Use Progress V9.1D
b) Upgrade to OpenServer 5.0.7 and Progress V9.1E (OS chargeable upgrade)
c) Upgrade to UnixWare and Progress V9.1E or OpenEdge 10 (OS chargeable upgrade - OpenEdge 10 chargeable 'trade in' upgrade)
d) Upgrade to OpenServer 6 and Progress V9.1E or OpenEdge 10 (OS chargeable upgrade - OpenEdge 10 chargeable 'trade in' upgrade)

A workaround of this issue is to use the _mprosrv executable to start database instead of making use of the proserve command.
