Actuate fatal exception opening Query Editor

It may come to pass that when you try to access the database either
through the Actuate Report Wizard or from the Design Editor that you
might encounter a "Fatal Exception OE has occurred in (string of
numbers and characters, perhaps a file name like "zwin")". If this
occurs at the point of hitting "ok" in the Database Login box, it
might be due to a bad ODBC driver.

The specific file that you may want to look at is ODBCJT32.dll. If
you look at this, you might find that it has a comparably older date
than the installation of Actuate. What might of happened is that,
somehow, during Actuate's installation they may have opted to keep the
old ODBC file instead of overwriting it with the new ODBC from
Actuate. HOW they might have done this has not yet been determined.
