GOAL:
What is the RECORD-NUMBER function on Report Builder
FIX:
Follow the steps below to create a a calculated field using the RECORD-NUMBER function. This function identifies the current record number.
Click on the calculated field icon on the menu
Click new
Type the name of your calculated field under Calculated field Name
Under functions choose RECORD-NUMBER()
Click close
Right click on the Page Footer line in your report
Choose insert field
Double click over user defined
Choose your newly created calculated field from the field list
Click insert
