SYMPTOM(s):
Initial values for a table do not match what is defined in schema.
Creation of record shows wrong value for initial value than what is defined in Data Dictionary for that field
CAUSE:
Each table has a template record. It is what is referenced each time a creation of a record within that table is made.
The values from the template record are copied into each new record created.
In this case the template record has been corrupted.
FIX:
Dump and reload the table.
