FIX:
No.
Updates to extented fields do not typically cause any more growth than any other fields.
When the 4GL code is written to make an assignment to one record as one assignment statement it will generate a minimal set of after image notes within the after image files.
If the 4GL code is written to make multiple assignment statements then more notes will be generated within the after image files.
