GOAL:
Does Progress support Fibre Channel Protocol (FCP)?
FIX:
Fibre Channel Protocol (FCP) is the interface protocol of SCSI on Fibre Channel, a high-speed data transfer mechanism that can be used to connect workstations, storage devices and display devices.
Progress doesn't interact with that level of protocol directly. Progress interacts with the TCP layer, which in turn interacts with the internet (IP) layer, which in turn builds on the layer below that - SCSI, FCP, and so on. As long as TCP is in use for the Progress connectivity, there should be no issues related to the transfer protocol.
