FYI Installation problem w/ Motorola 88K
Two new cdrom releases for Progress 8 that apparently
did not get recorded for the latest version of the
Installation Notes are for the following products..
NEC / Media Code 168 / OS NEC EWS 12.3
Siemens RM / Media Code 168 / OS Sinex 5.42 (Reliant UNIX 5.43)
The correct mount commands for these platforms follows..
NEC
mount -F cdfs -o ro,fperm=0555,uid=0,gid=0, nmconv=lm
/device-name /mount-point
Siemens
mount -F hs -o fperm=0555,uid=0,gid=0, nmconv=lm
/device-name /mount-point
Note: This info can also be found on the TSE-accessible-only
"Install Page" along with every other media installation
command.
