SYMPTOM(s):
VSlick error occurs when starting Progress
Macro file vslick.sta not found
If OK is selected then Progress will continue to load as normal
No Development tools installed so no PROEDIT folder is required in the working directory
FileMon utility shows that PROWIN32.EXE is not able to find the vslick.sta
FileMon utility shows that PROWIN32.EXE is not checking in the standard location for vslick.sta (DLC\PROEDIT) but in another folder
CAUSE:
Progress is unable to locate the vslick.sta file
FIX:
Copy vslick.sta into the location that PROWIN32.EXE is searching, as indicated by the FileMon utility.
For example, if the FileMon log file shows something similar to the following:
prowin32.exe:<proc_id> OPEN C:\TEMP\PROEDIT\vslick.sta NOT FOUND
Copy vslick.sta into C:\TEMP\PROEDIT\ and re-start Progress
