SYMPTOM(s):
Tomcat is running in stand alone mode.
Tomcat version 5.5.7
Connection failure for host ###.##.#.## port #### transport HTTPS. (9407)
Application runs fine when not using SSL

CAUSE:
Bug# OE00114799
FIX:
There are a couple of work arounds for this issue.
1) Use Tomcat as a plugin to an Apache or other web server of choice. The Webserver should then be configured for SSL. Tomcat can then be configured without SSL.
2) If you are running Progress9.1D you can upgrade to Progress 9.1E .
