SYMPTOM(s):
Progress client abnormal shutdown on Citrix server
Using 16 colors setting for the Citrix client.
The crash happens when an image or icon is displayed.
Protrace shows an access violation in ntdll.dll
PROGRESS stack trace shows an empty Call Stack.
CAUSE:
This is a known issue being investigated by Development
FIX:
Set the Citrix color number to 256 or higher.
In general this is achieved by changing the Default Options in the ICA setting of the Citrix client, however this changes with the Citrix versions, so, please refer to the Citrix manuals in order to know how to correctly change the color number in your environment.
