Error 8841 when connecting SQL-92 client to a cluster enabled database
SQL server process terminated. (8841)
ODBC connection generates error
[DataDirect-Technologies][ODBC PROGRESS driver][PROGRESS] Database not started
Connection fails from SQL Explorer too
Database was clustered enabled
When starting the database with proserve, the SQL-92 client connections are successful

Using HP's Service Guard Cluster Management Software
CAUSE:
The script generated to start the database when enabling clusters has the $DLC/bin/slib_env commented out. This variable sets the Progress shared library environment needed to connect to the SQL Server.
FIX:
Uncomment the $DLC/bin/slib_env within the script
