GOAL:
Are AppServer and WebSpeed cluster-aware in Progress 9.1E?
GOAL:
What additional configuration is required to make AppServer and WebSpeed cluster-aware?
FACT(s) (Environment):
Progress 9.1E
FIX:
AppServer and WebSpeed can be cluster-aware in Progress 9.1E as they are based upon the AdminService.
Add the following parameters to the Chimera value in the Registry or to the end of the PROADSV command depending on how the AdminService is started:
-cluster
-host <virtual cluster name>
The Chimera value can be found at this location in the Registry:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\PSC\AdminService\9.1E\StartupCmd
Start the AdminService as Administrator or Root
