What DB files are accessed by users?
GOAL:
When are AI (After Image) files accessed by the users?
FIX:
All processes which are accessing the shared memory segment(s) initialized by the database broker are accessing all the database files; these processes are the self service clients (_progres, _proapsv, .. ) and the remote servers (_mprosrv, _sqlsrv2).
All the extents defined within the database structure plus the database log file are accessed by such processes. Even when After-Image is not enabled, any AI extent defined for the database will be shown as accessed by the OS (Operating System) tools like fuser or lsof.
