SYMPTOM(s):
Calculated fields are cached on AppServer
Failed to add columns to the RowObject Table.
Could not create Calculated Field <field name> from Repository.
Calculated fields must be defined for an Entity.
Adding new calculated fields to an existing SDO results in errors on the AppServer.

CAUSE:
In OpenEdge 10.0B there was a change to cache calculated fields as entities at runtime. Calculated fields are made part of an entity in the SDO for performance reasons.
FIX:
This is a Development environment problem only, and is a side effect of the performance changes. Unfortunately there is no way to refresh the AppServer cache other than to trim the AppServer, or re-start them.
