GOAL:
Is there a way to add the Progress default value after migrating the database to Microsoft SQL Server database using protoMSS utility?
GOAL:
How to add progress default values to the field in the Microsoft SQL Server database protoMSS?
FACT(s) (Environment):
MS SQL DataServer
FIX:
There are three options:
1. If no other application uses the MSS database but the Progress applications then you can just ignore the fact that there are no defaults in Microsoft SQL Server (MSS) database.
2. If you want to put them in you can use the Enterprise Manager to do it one by one or write a SQL script to add the defaults.
3. Dump the data from the MSS Database and run the migration again checking defaults this time and load the data back to the MSS Database.
