WebClient installation fails using a browser updated with JAVA 1.5
WebClient installation fails when using the Firefox browser
Can not install WebClient using web installation files
The webclient.htm file hangs during installation
No error is displayed
FACT(s) (Environment):
Windows
CAUSE:
This is a known issue
FIX:
Install WebClient with Microsoft Explorer or Netscape 7.2 browsers that have not been upgraded with JAVA 1.5.
If installing one of these browsers is not an option then installing WebClient using a CD is the only other option. In 9.1X create a CD using win_image files from the 9.1X product CD. If using 10.0x use the web_image files found under <DLC>\webinstall\webclient.
