GOAL:
Why is the PROPATH located in the .wsad file?
GOAL:
Is the PROPATH defined in the ProxyGen used when deploying a Web Services?
FACT(s) (Environment):
Web Services
OpenEdge 10.0x
FIX:
The PROPATH information is only needed for the ProxyGen when generating the .wsm file in order to locate the .r files.
Then it remains in the .wsm file.
However, when deploying the Web Service, this PROPATH is never used indeed, even if it is still present in the .wsad file. As a matter of fact, there is a lot of information that is not required for deployment but it is used by ProxyGen.
