$DLC/webinstall/webclient is not upgraded when applying a service pack to OpenEdge
CAUSE:
On the 10.0B01 CD/download, there is a separate webinstall directory (or webclient). The Service Pack install does not update the $DLC/webinstall/webclient area. With this service Pack Instead, if one wants the webclient install, he must copy this from the CD.
The fact that installing 10.0B01 does not update the $DLC/webinstall/webclient area was an oversight that has been addressed
FIX:
Use the separate webinstall directory of the Service Pack. Running the new setup.exe and choosing the modify option will upgrade the 10.0B WebClient to 10.0B01
Note that the WebClient is now available along with the Service Packs on 10.0B01 ESD as a separate downloadable.
