SYMPTOM(s):
Attempting to start AppServer with asbman from ProEnv
Unable to start <service name> (8297)
Attempting to start AppServer from Progress Explorer fails
No error messages are display by Progress Explorer
No log files are created
New AppServer definition created via Progress Explorer
Ubroker.properties file was not adjusted manually
The ubroker.properties template was used to start default AppServer (asbroker1)
Default AppServer (asbroker1) starts properly using the template ubroker.properties file.
New AppServer has a startup procedure specified
New AppServer starts properly with no startup procedure specified.
CAUSE:
The srvrStartupProc (Server Startup Procedure) had a problem which was preventing the AppServer from starting. The AppServer was able to start successfully without a startup procedure.
FIX:
Resolve problem with AppServer startup procedure
