The Caution statement in the Installation and Configuration Guide for Windows, on page 3-21, is unclear
The Caution statement is found in the custom installation section between steps 5 and 6.
Caution:If you previously installed the required version of the JavaSoft (InstallShield) JDK on your system and want OpenEdge (Progress) to use this utility, you should contact Progress Software Technical Support for assistance.
CAUSE:
The wording of the caution lacks clarity

The caution statement implies that this utility needs to be addressed during the installation.
