Are there any plans to wrap and unwrap Document/Literal Web Services parameters automatically when using an OpenEdge client?
GOAL:
Do you always have to create and parse XML documents manually when using a Document/Literal Web Service from an OpenEdge client ?
FACT(s) (Environment):
OpenEdge 10.0x
FIX:
A Document/Literal Web Service requires XML documents as input and output parameters. Currently the only way to use a Document/Literal Web Service from an OpenEdge client is to create and parse the XML documents manually.
There are plans to automate this in future releases of OpenEdge.
