Webspeed 2.0 Maximum agents exceeds the maximum user

This is a known problem in WebSpeed 2.0 on NT platforms regarding user
licensing. The configuration utility will only let you set the
"Max Agents" parameter to the lowest user license available on the
system. For example, if you have a 5 user Transaction Server and a 1
user Workshop, you will be restricted to only 1 agent. This is a bug,
and fortunately there is a quick and simple fix available.

The patch for the bug fix is now available for download from the
Progress ftp site, ftp.progress.com in the directory
/pub/patches/WEBSPEED. You can use any ftp client to access the site,
or point your web browser to
ftp://ftp.progress.com/pub/patches/WEBSPEED and click the file names
to download.

It's a self-extracting .exe called "ws2001q.EXE" that the customer
should download in binary format. There is also a "read.me" file in
this directory that will give them instructions on how to "extract"
the wsprocfg.dll and the "version" file from the .EXE.

The version for this patch is WS2001q.EXE.

Contents of the READ.ME file-->
----------------------------
This version of wsprocfg.dll corrects the following bugs:

97-07-24-022 Config utility uses lowest user lisc
97-06-26-028 PROCFG and PROMSGS variable conflict

To Install:

o If necessary, install WebSpeed v2.0 from release media.

o Reboot system.

o Create a working directory and download "ws2001q.EXE"
into this directory.

o From Explorer or File Manager, double click on
"ws2001q.EXE".

o Rename InstallPath/bin/wsprocfg.dll to some other name
(to retain original version).

o Copy the new wsprocfg.dll to the InstallPath/bin
directory.

It would be recommended that you upgrade to Webspeed 2.1 to avoid
this issue.
