SYMPTOM(s):
Warning: The item you requested to start is not networked. If you proceed sports2000 will be started, but will have no communications with the admin server. The admin server will not know if it is running or not.

Warning message occurs when starting the database from Procontrol.
AdminServer has been started as a Service
CAUSE:
Database was not configured in the Progress Explorer Tool and therefore was not registering with the AdminServer.
FIX:
Create an entry for the database in the Progress Explorer Tool. Then start or stop the database either automatically via the AdminServer or on the command line using dbman -start / -stop.
