CAUSE:
Service name used was not listed in services file.
FIX:
When using a service name within the ODBC Datasource remember to add or verify that a listing for that service name and port exists within the client systems services file.
Review the %WINDIR%\system32\drivers\etc\services file and add the entry for your new service if necessary.
