Wrong values are stored into the database when updating fields with extended / special characters from a 4GL Web Services
Using Document/Literal encoding
It works fine using the RPC/Encoded encoding
CAUSE:
Bug# 20041126-005
FIX:
Apply the Service pack 10.0B02 where this is fixed.
If applying the Service Pack is not possible, when deploying the Web Service via the Progress Explorer tools, use the RPC/Encoded encoding
