Is possible to backup Progress database using IBM Tivoli Storage Manager ?
FIX:
Yes
1) the database has to be offline, or
2) in order to do a backup while the database is online, a quiet point has to be enabled on the database before TSM backup kicks in
example:
$DLC/bin/proquiet DB -C enable
run TSM backup
$DLC/bin/proquiet DB -C disable
