Status: Unverified
FACT(s) (Environment):
Progress 9.1D
Sun Solaris SPARC
SYMPTOM(s):
Unable to load jutil dynamic library, error -1 (10016)
WebSpeed error from messenger process (6019)
WebSpeed can be started without problems
Getting an error when accessing WebSpeed application after Progress license update
Database has been installed to the same directory as already existing WebSpeed installation
The progress.cfg after installation contains 2 products: WebSpeed Transaction Server and (Enterprise) database
WebSpeed application gives errors 6019 and 10016 after adding a new Progress product to an existing Progress installation
CHANGE:
Installed Database license on the top of WebSpeed Transaction Server license
CAUSE:
The already installed WebSpeed Transaction Server was 32-bit Progress. The newly installed (Enterprise) database was 64-bit Progress, which has caused mix between 32/64 bit binaries and libraries.
FIX:
Reinstall the WebSpeed (Transaction Server) and (Enterprise) database using same installation bits, ie 32-bit or 64-bit. It is not possible to mix 32 & 64 bits within one directory (installation). Alternatively the WebSpeed can be installed to directory1 and database installed to directory2. But in this case, shared memory connection between WebSpeed agent and database cannot be used, only client-server as client and server do have a different shared memory version.
