Roll forward onto backed up database fails with error 833
** Those dates don't match, so you have the wrong copy of one of them. (833)
probkup done on database that was being rolled forward onto
CAUSE:
The database master block is updated when a probkup is done, and as the product now stands, the type of changes made during that update mean that the database is flagged as having been opened. Once a database has been opened it is no longer possible to roll forward. In this sense, the 831 etc. are expected behaviour.
FIX:
1. Create a new backup from the source database in the hot spare configuration
2. Restore this new backup as the hot spare
3. Roll forward the subsequent ai files
In a hot spare configuration, if a backup is required of the hot spare database, then os utilities should be used, and not probkup.
