How to change the port number of the Sonic Adapter?
FIX:
The Sonic Adapter startup parameters are specified on the startup of the Sonic Adapter. The Sonic Adapter can be started from command line or by using the Progress Explorer tool:
To change the port number that the Sonic Adapter is started on using the command line reference issue the following command:
Syntax> adaptman -i SonicMQ1 -port 15000 -start.
The -port argument specifies the port number that the sonic Adapter will be started on.
To change the properties of the Sonic Adapter using the Progress Explorer tool perform the following:
1. Launch Progress Explorer tool and connect to the AdminServer
2. Click the - minus sign next to the SonicMQ Adapter
3. Right click on the Sonic Adapter Instance : default is sonicMQ1
4. Select the Broker properties.
5. In the port number text box change the port number to the desired port number.
6. Restart the AdminServer for changes to take affect.
