SYMPTOM(s):
Client connect to AppServer fails
Connection failure for host <host_name> port <port> transport <transport_name>. (9407)
Application server connect failure. (5468)
AppServer is running fine
IP address is defined dynamically for the AppServer machine
CAUSE:
Within the Service Parameter Maintenance of the application a static IP address is defined for the host name of the AppServer Partition.
FIX:
Use the host name instead for the Host (-H) entry of the Service Parameter Maintenance for the AppServer Partition within ProTools
