New installation of all WebSpeed development and deployments products fail with error 139.
License update for all WebSpeed development and deployment products fails with error 139.
INSTALLATION ERROR (139): The entered configuration information is incorrect. Re-enter the configuration.
License update is using the same serial number but different control codes
CAUSE:
All serial numbers and control codes for WebSpeed 3.1D that were generated by Progress Admin/Sales between October 14, 2004 and October 28, 2004 for WebSpeed products including those contained in PSDN have a mismatch between the serial number and control codes. This mismatch will cause a new installation or a license update of all WebSpeed development and deployment products to fail.
FIX:
This problem has been fixed and a letter is being sent to all customers who received the incorrect information, explaining the problem and supplying replacement codes. If you have not received this letter please contact your local Customer Server Center.
