SYMPTOM(s):
dbtool gives dsmUserConnect errors when connecting to a database
Progress version 9.1D06 or later.
There is no server for database <dbname>. (1423)
dsmUserConnect failed rc = -1
ERROR connecting -1dsmUserDisconnect called for invalid user. rtc: -20031. (7132)
Database is not started or running in a multi-user mode.
CAUSE:
Selected 1=self service session as the database connection method for attaching to a database that is not in multi-user mode.
FIX:
Select option 0=single user session for the database connection method when attaching to a database that is not in multi-user mode.
