GOAL:
Batch installation of 9.1D SP6 or earlier
FIX:
As checked within the READMESP file for Service Pack 6, there was no possibility of an installation by batch. This enhancement for the installation was introduced in 9.1D07.
A possible workaround would be the following steps:
After a manual installation of the Service Pack on top of 9.1D done on one machine:
1. Find all the new or modified files under $DLC
2. Create a tar file containing all these modified or new files
On the other machine where 9.1D has been installed
3. Extract the tar file made in step 2
The above is not a supported way to install the Service Pack, even if it will work when the SP installation is done just after the 9.1D installation without having made modification to any of the files under $DLC.
