FACT(s) (Environment):

Windows NT 32 Intel/Windows 2000
Progress/OpenEdge Versions

FIX:

In order to use the DOS prompt to run the progress command, you need to setup the DLC environment variable into the user environment variables.  Here are the steps to add the user environment variables: 1. From the desktop, select Start > Settings > Control Panel 2. Double click on the System and select Advance tab 3. Click on the environment variable button 4. Click New under the "User variables for <user name>" 5. Type the DLC in the variable name and progress installation path in the variable value and click OK. 6. Do the same as step 5 to create a PATH environment variable and type the following in the variable value: %DLC%\bin;%PATH% After you are done adding DLC and PATH environment variables, you can use the DOS command prompt to run all the progress commands.
