FIX:
SUSE Enterprise 9 is not yet certified. Progress/OpenEdge only supports Linux for x86 (intel) processor, and so Progress/OpenEdge will not run under SUSE Enterprise 9 on IBM P650. Please refer to the Product Availability Guide at Progress > OpenEdge Support web site.
