How to start Watchdog Process via ProControl.
GOAL:
Can Watchdog process be automated within in ProControl?
FIX:
Watchdog Process can be started within ProControl in the following manner:
1 Choose Start -> Programs -> Progress -> ProControl
2 In ProControl click once on Start button
3 Click once on Detail button
4 When ProControl starts click once on database name
5 Click once on Edit button
6 Click once on DB Writers tab
7 Click once on the box to the right of Watchdog Process
7.5 Click once on OK to return to the Detals screen.
8 In Database tab click once on database name
9 Click Start button
Database is now started, along with the Watchdog process
