SYMPTOM(s):
Increasing -B causes server to crash
The higher -B the more often the server crashes
No entries in the database log file
Database goes through crash recovery and starts up again without error
CAUSE:
Suspect memory management of the kernel or faulty memory chip.
FIX:
Progress processes do not cause the system to crash, it is vice versa.
Contact your OS vendor to perform a full diagnostic of the system.
