Building a dynamic query with more than 18 buffers get the error:
ADD/SET-BUFFERS may supply only up to 18 of buffers. (7318)
As is documented, the maximum number of buffers per dynamic query is 18.
Due to complexity of the programs a higher limit is needed.
CAUSE:
Enhancement request# 20031001-001
FIX:
In Progress 10.0B the limit was increased to 180 buffers;
SET-BUFFERS is still limited to 18 buffers, but ADD-BUFFERS method can be used to add up to 180 buffers.
