Memory Violation 49: When -n is exceeded
DRAFT COPY - Currently under review and edit.
INTRODUCTION:
=============
This Progress Software technical knowledgebase article is intended as
a "heads up" for an issue which we have seen on UNIX V.4 with version
7.3C15.
WHY YOU NEED TO KNOW THIS:
===========================
There have been a few instances reported that an error (49) memory
violation is generated, followed by a core dump when Progress version
7.3C15 is being used on UNIX V.4 and the -n parameter is exceeded.
This issue has been resolved in Progress version 7.3E and higher.
