Service pack installation hangs when Backing Up Progress Files
Installation of service pack core dumps during Back up of progress files
An earlier service pack was applied before also with Backup option
stacktrace reads:
FindDlgMsgWindowNumber
CreateDlgMsg
RecursiveDirDelete
ExplodeArchives
CAUSE:
This is a known issue being investigated by development
FIX:
Instead of "backup option" within this service do following:
1) stop all progress processes before the SP installation
2) tar -cvf the DLC directory
3) run the SP installation without backup option
