Sample Setup.ini for -b batch installation 8.2A - 8.3A
INTRODUCTION:
=============
This procedure for batch unattended installation.
This applies to versions 8.2A thru 8.3x.
The following is a sample file for use when making a batch
installation file. Modification of the following file will be needed
to customize it for any usage.
This file is only really beneficial to users who can cut and paste
its contents into a file at which point the user can then enhance
the file as necessary.
WHY YOU NEED TO KNOW THIS:
===========================
Although this same information is contained within the Installation
Guide for 8.2A this Knowledge Base entry has been made to facilitate
the usage of this method if you wish to employ it.
PROCEDURAL APPROACH:
====================
After you have copied the bellow information into a file you can edit
its content for such specific things as the Configurations to install
(i.e. the Progress packages); for the types of languages you wish to
install (Note unless you have either International Promsgs or the DBE
Supplement packages you most likely will not have the full set of
languages displayed in this file); for the location to install; for
the Group Name to assign for the installation.....
