Are .p/.r file names limited to 12 characters on UNIX?

FIX:
4GL program file names (i.e. .p & .r) are not limited to twelve (12) characters on UNIX. Earlier versions on UNIX did have a 12 character limit for the length of file names and consequently Progress enforced this limit when naming 4GL programs, however, those limits were removed long ago.
