SYMPTOM(s):
Test connect from Windows 2000 workstation to Windows 2000 server produces errors
DataDirect][ODBC OPENEDGE driver]Invalid attribute in connection string:Description
[DataDirect][ODBC OPENEDGE driver][OPENEDGE]Remote Database Name not valid.
CAUSE:
A complete path to the database had been entered in the ODBC Data Source Administration menu under the Database Name field. All that is required is the database name.
FIX:
To correct the problem, remove the path to the database leaving only the database name in the ODBC Data Source Administration menu. The database name field is found in the General menu.

INCORRECT: C:\OE10WRK\database_name
CORRECT: database_name
