FIX:
1. Use your favorite editor such as VI, EMACs or the Progress Procedure Editor to modify and then save the ubroker.properties or the conmgr.properties files.
2. It has been suggested by Progress sales staff that customers that are running Progress on a UNIX platform order the NameServer license for Windows NT, so they can manage their UNIX configuration using the Progress Explorer from Windows NT. According to Sales this has been working just fine and "costs the customer (virtually) nothing".
