Memory leak with the NSAPI Messenger in Webspeed 2.0
Memory leak with the NSAPI Messenger in Webspeed 2.0
There is a known memory leak issue with respect to Netscape
Enterprise Server 2.0.1 and FastTrack Server 2.0.1 when using a
custom NSAPI DLL or NSAPI SO (shared object). The size of the
server executable, httpd.exe, grows in 4K increments with most
requests made to the server, and the memory usage level does not
drop significantly over the course of time.
The only known workaround at the current time is to shut down and
restart the server whenever the size of the server executable
has grown to a size which negatively affects the current
system resources
