GOAL:
Why is the WebSpeed Messenger executable size considerably bigger in 10.0B compared to the previous releases?
GOAL:
Why is the WebSpeed Messenger executables like cgiip.exe wsisa.dll and wsnsa.dll bigger in size in 10.0B than in 9.x or 10.0A versions?
FACT(s) (Environment):
OpenEdge 10.0B
FIX:
This is expected behavior. OpenEdge 10.0B introduced support for the SSL protocol within the WebSpeed Messengers, therefore increasing their respective executable file sizes.
