SYMPTOM(s):
Error # 13 when adding after-image extent to directory that does not have write permission.
Unable to open or create <filename>, error <number>. (354)
Attempt to add after-image extent to directory that did not have write permission enabled.
After-image area <n> <filename.a1> unable to open or create <finename.a1> error 13. (354).
after-image extent was not written in directory that did not have write permission.
structure file does not have after-image area entry.
Prostrct list shows:
Area Name: After Image Area <n>, Type 7, Block Size <n>, Extents 0
prostrct remove <dbname> ai fails with error:
Error locating last extent record of area <n> : After Image Area <n>. (6957)
CAUSE:
Prostrct failed to validate the .st file and .db file before updating the .db file.
FIX:
Upgrade to 9.1D or later.
To work around the problem:
1. remove <dbname>.db file.
2. prostrct builddb <dbname> <dbname>.st
