Error 8014 when loading a custom shared library from a Progress session
DLL Error : <dllerror> (8014)
DLL Error : ld.so.1: <Progress directory>/bin/_progres: fatal: <libraryName>: open failed: No such file or directory (8014)
The shared library is located in /usr/lib.
The directory /usr/lib is included in the LD_LIBRARY_PATH environment variable.
CAUSE:
The shared library should be located in the /usr/lib/64 directory.
FIX:
Put user/custom shared libraries in /usr/lib/64.
